Overview

This holiday home is located a few kilometers from the main road. It can be reached via a small windy road, and is situated next to the farm. The fenomenal views and the peacefulness are sure to provide a relaxing holiday. The house has a large alpine meadow with fruit trees in the front and a forrest in the back. In the valley below, there are several roads ideal for cycling. Kayaking, parasailing and rafting are other activities in the neighbourhood. The ground floor of the holiday home has a living/dining room with sattelite TV and DVD player, open kitchen and bathroom. The 3 double bedrooms with wash basin are located on the first floor.

Price

The rent includes bed and bath-linen. Pets are welcome. The Ramsak farm also rents out rooms with shower and toilet in the farmhouse for €22 per person

Prices are per week for 4 people and include linen but exlcude the end cleaning of €35. Each extra person is €50.

Surrounding area

The small city of Gornji Grad with its imposing cathedral is only 5 km away. Here you can do your shopping or visit one of the typical slovene Gostilna's for lunch or dinner. The freshly caught trout is a special delicacy in this area and most affordable. Nearby Mozirje has 3 large supermarkets, open from 7-19 and from 7-12 on Sundays. From Gornji Grad you can easily reach the Savinja valley with its romantic villages and nature park Logarska Dolina. There are several spa's in the neighbourhood, each with their own specific healing water properties.Swimming is possible in the Savinja or lakes in the area.Recommendations are: Mining Museum Velenje - the Ice Cave in Luce - Nature park Logarska dolina - Panorama cesta (road) with its tourist farms.

Location

Gornji Grad is centrally located in Slovenia in the Dreta river valley and can be reached via the main Ljubljana-Maribor highway as well as through the mountains via Kamnik. Most major sights in Slovenia are reachable on a short day trip. Ljubljana and Maribor are both an hour away by car.
